The Tribune's Bears experts give their predictions for the Bears' game Sunday against the Broncos in Denver:

Brad Biggs 9-3

With vital cogs from the Bears offense missing, it's difficult to imagine a scenario in which it scores enough points to defeat a patient Broncos team protecting ball. Broncos 24, Bears 10

Matt Bowen 8-4

The Bears are a desperate team, but the Broncos are playing their best football on both sides of the ball. Tim Tebow will do enough and the Denver defense will shut the door on Caleb Hanie. Broncos 16 Bears 10

David Haugh 7-5

Perhaps playing back in Colorado will spark Caleb Hanie, but I doubt it. The Broncos defense is too active. Maybe Donovan McN ... oh, forget it. Tebowmania reigns. Broncos 17, Bears 13

Madden 12 5-7

In a simulation run by EA Sports for the Tribune, Caleb Hanie hit Kellen Davis with a 7-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and the Bears weathered Tim Tebow's fourth-quarter comeback. Bears 20, Broncos 17

Vaughn McClure 7-5

The Bears should hold their own on defense, but that might not be enough. The Broncos are much better defensively than the Chiefs were, and that doesn't bode well for the Bears offense. Broncos 17, Bears 14

Dan McNeil 9-3

If the Bears couldn't block the Chiefs, why would one assume they can handle Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller? Too much pressure on the Bears defense to compensate for a limp offense. Broncos 20, Bears 12

Fred Mitchell 7-5

The Bears defense must be stout and opportunistic, and the offense efficient and turnover-free. Add and element of playoff desperation and the Bears can take difficult road victory. Bears 16, Broncos 13

Mike Mulligan 9-3

The defense has beaten Cam Newton and Michael Vick and can stop Tim Tebow. But can the offense score without Jay Cutler or Matt Forte? Denver protects the ball, and that's a big problem. Broncos 13, Bears 10

Dan Pompei 7-5

It will be difficult for the Bears to come out of their offensive funk sans Jay Cutler and Matt Forte in a hostile stadium. Poor Caleb Hanie can't win. And the Broncos quarterback? He can't lose. Broncos 20, Bears 17
